Varsity tennis heads into state

“The thing I love most about tennis has to be the competition,” said sophomore, Paige Boudreaux, who has been playing for almost three years.

As a varsity team member she knows the amount of work and time that goes into tennis — for example, Lewiston played Moscow High School and tied April 16.

The varsity team played Pullman at Pullman High School April 19 with Pullman getting the best score.

For the Capital tournament April 27-28 in southern Idaho, the varsity Bengals played several schools and got 31st place. Back in Moscow May 1, Lewiston played MHS and tied again.

Regional-level competition happened May 11-12 in Post Falls. State-level competition was set for May 18-19 in Boise, with results unavailable at press time.
