Julie Bieker-Bender coordinates the LHS SPARC program with LCSC.

Tickets are on sale for a taco bar dinner that will benefit SPARC, an organization that helps young people with disabilities work on independent transition skills.

The dinner will be held May 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m at the Lewiston Eagles, 1304 Main St.

Lewiston High School SPARC (Students and Professionals Accessing Resources in the Community) serves disabled people age 18-21 and is located on the Lewis-Clark State College campus.

The SPARC students are also seeking donations for a raffle and silent auction that will be a part of the dinner.

Tickets for the annual fundraiser are $10 per person and free for anybody under age 5. They will be available at the door, or event organizer Julie Bieker-Bender will deliver them to those who call 208-790-3519. Bieker-Bender said 50-50 tickets are for sale at $1 each, six for $5 and 40 tickets for $25.
