Following the official school closures on April 6, students at Lewiston High School have turned to online schooling in order to complete their credits for the 2019-2020 school year. However, some classes take different approaches than others when seemingly necessary classroom supplies are unavailable.
Scout Larson, an art teacher at LHS, has her students getting out of their houses in order to complete some springtime land art. Students were challenged to create a design or pattern using only elements from nature; leaves, flowers, rocks and more. A similar assignment took place in the fall, and the artwork from some students was featured on the October cover of The Bengal’s Purr, seen here.
