According to a press release from the LC theatre, Little Shop of Horrors centers around Seymour Krelborn, a floral assistant who lives on Skid Row. His boss, Mr. Mushnik, constantly criticizes Seymour, and all he wants is to be noticed by his beautiful co-worker, Audrey. Mistakenly, Seymour finds a mysterious plant in town. He names the plant Audrey II and takes it back to the flower shop. Audrey II can provide Seymour with recognition and riches, but everything comes with a price. The plant has an unconventional thirst for something other than water. Seymour faces two options, give into Audrey II’s demands and keep up his success or return to an everyday life like he had before.
