Lewiston’s Mock Trial team competed in Regionals Feb. 25 at the Nez Perce County Courthouse. They placed in the top three and went to state March 15-17. Individually, Nam Bui won first place Courtroom Artist, Roselynn Oviatt and Tristan Smalley both won an Attorney Award and Graham Jones and Valeria Soto both won a Witness Award. There are nine active members in the group. Shannon Van Buren is the coach, and Joanna McFarland is the attorney who advises the team, along with Matt Eggers, a University of Idaho law student.
