Tennis team heads to regionals

The Lewiston varsity tennis team is heading into the season’s final stretch. The team has participated in most of its scheduled matches before attending regional and state competitions. So far, the varsity team has a 6-1 record, with four regular matches left before regionals and state. Head coach Sandi Stocks said, “I hope that at the regional tournament, we can overcome CDA and take the championship, but that will require outstanding performances from the whole team.¨

The varsity team has five upcoming regional and state games, in Coeur d’Alene and Boise.
“I am excited to see what Dylan can put together at the state tournament. As the player who finished 2nd in the state last year, I hope he can get there again and take the whole thing,” says Stocks.
