Baseball swings into a strong season
LHS’s Baseball played against Coeur d’Alene on Tues-
day, April 12. Varsity lost by 4-3 and 8-1. Justin Miller,
assistant coach for varsity, is very proud of his team.
“We have played some really good baseball, but also
lost some tough games. We are just trying to peak at
the right time as we finish our season and head into
the playoffs,” said Miller.
Miller notes his team’s pitching has been outstand-
ing, however improvement can be made in the ba-
sic physical fitness of the team and clutch situational
hitting. He is very proud of his team. The boy’s next
game will be on Saturday, April 29 at Lake City at
12:00 pm.
