May 9 marked the day when the 2024 LHS baseball season has ended.
“The season overall was a success,” said Brooks Juhasz, who coaches with Coach Darren Trainor. “A lot of young players gained experience at the varsity level that will translate to leadership in the future.”
The LHS varsity team’s overall score was 14 wins and 11 losses.
“My favorite memory from the season was beating Post Falls, giving us a chance to play in the state play-in game,” Juhasz said. “Bengal fans came out to Church [Field] in bunches despite the weather and Cody Ray put on a show. Special day.”
The most recent game on May 9 was a playoff against Coeur d’Alene, ending with a score of 4-2.
