The Lewis-Clark Valley has a surplus of activities during the fall months. However, the local pumpkin patches take the cake for autumn fun.
The LC Valley Pumpkin Patch is put on as a fundraiser for the LC Valley Habitat for Humanity. All proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity, which will help provide affordable habitat homes and funds to rebuild homes. The new location for 2024 is 2200 8th Ave. in Lewiston, and the pumpkin patch is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 6-31. According to their website, the LC Valley Pumpkin Patch presents over 3,000 pumpkins and gourds along with child-friendly activities, games, and picture opportunities. https://pumpkinpatchlcv.org/
The Wilson Banner Ranch is another great option in the valley. Not only do they host an annual U-Pick pumpkin picking event, but they also sell their produce at farmer’s markets in the area. They are located at 16397 Highway 12, Clarkston WA. According to their Facebook page, The ranch has operated for over 100 years. https://www.facebook.com/wilsonbannerranch/about
There are also options for people who don’t have as much time to dedicate to a pumpkin-picking day. Local grocery stores such as Rosauers, A&B Foods, Costco Wholesale, Albertsons, and Walmart all sell porch-worthy pumpkins at great prices!
