The LHS Choir classes have been performing this winter with concerts and Singing Valentine deliveries. .
Every year the Choir students do singing valentines, which can be ordered for delivery in the Lewiston and Clarkston schools, along with other places in the Valley. On Feb. 14 this year, LHS singers delivered a personalized card, a rose, and a performance of one of four songs: You are my sunshine, Cute, Fly me to the moon, and happy together
Earlier this winter the LHS Choirs performed a Holiday Concert at the University of Idaho in Moscow Dec. 5. They also had another Christmas concert on Dec. 16 at the P1FCU Performing Arts Center at LHS. The concert included many different songs, such as Jingle bells, Silver bells and We wish you a merry Christmas.
Choir participant Kayelee Ruegsegger said the winter concerts were “long but very fun.”
She added that “It was an awesome experience,” especially singing her favorite, “Dream a little Dream.”
Another choir participant, Cadi Miller, said her favorite song in the lineup was “Jingle Bells.”
“The alto part was really fun,” Miller said.
