LHS drama department is performing The Wizard of Oz for its spring play this year, a very timely show due to the rise in popularity of the Oz universe following the film release of Wicked in 2024.
For the play at LHS, show dates have changed and are now happening at 7 p.m. on March 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, and 22. There will also be matinee shows at noon on March 15 and 22.
Performances will occur in the P1FCU Performing Arts Center at Lewiston High School. Tickets will cost 1$ for LHS students and staff, 3$ for children and seniors, and 5$ for adults. Anyone can show up to support all the students making the show possible, including the performers, the tech department, the stagecraft class, and the backstage crew.
