This year’s Distinguished Young Women competition will be taking place Saturday, April 12, in the Lewiston High School auditorium at 6 p.m. The theme is “Island In The Sun” and tickets are $10.
There will be five LHS contestants for this year’s 2026 competition: Kimber Luke, Lillie Jolliff, Kadynce Scott, Aliah Winterbottom, and Natalie Witt.
DYW is a national scholarship program funded by various donations and sponsorships from both individuals and businesses. The program is directed towards junior girls in high school. The competition consists of achievement, aspiration, and talent sections where the girls perform or answer questions in front of judges who, at the end of the night, choose an overall winner.
