The Lewiston City Library is calling upon aspiring writers to attend its three-part writing workshops on April 15, 22, and 29. All of these free workshops will be at 5 p.m., held in the library’s second-floor event space.
Each session will be taught by Lewis-Clark State College English professors. The April 15 event, with Kimberly Tolson, will focus on reading and writing different poetic forms.
The second date will focus on writing fiction. Dr. Louis Sylvester will offer writing exercises, such as inventing new characters and developing interesting plots
The final workshop, with Jennifer Anderson, will focus on writing a nonfiction narrative. This will include reading, drafting, and sharing personal work exercises.
Interested attendees are encouraged to bring a writing utensil and paper. More details are available at lewistonlibrary.org.
