Debbie Wassmuth is retiring from her teaching position at LHS after 21 years. She has taught numerous classes pertaining to the medical field, such as Health Occupations, Medical Terminology, and CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
Wassmuth expressed her gratitude for the job and said she has big plans for her retirement.
“I want to grow my garden big all around my house, spend more time with family and friends, and maybe even write a book,” said Wassmuth.
While excited to retire, she said she still feels very proud of her students and the impact she has seen from the skills she has taught them.
“It is very rewarding to teach the students important health care skills and watch as they master them and go on to do great things,” said Wassmuth.
