Science teacher wins award, opens art show this spring
Recently awarded as Outstanding Earth Science Teacher of the Pacific Northwest, Jeffrey Karlin is enjoying the end of his most recent school year at LHS.
This month Karlin also opened up an art show, titled Musings by Karlin, at the LCSC Center for Arts and History.
Most of his pieces are up for sale, but others are “too valuable” to put a price tag on, Karlin said.
The art pieces range from totem poles to paintings based on science and math structures. The show also includes his infamous “throne” of animal furs, bones or antlers.
Karlin’s art exhibit lasts all month, and can be found on the second floor of Center for Arts on Main Street in Lewiston.
