In a special meeting Monday, Sept. 4, members of the DeAtley family in Lewiston made a special donation to the Lewiston School District. This donation of $2 million was the largest donation given in the history of the district, according to lewistonschools.com. The DeAtley family gave the funds in memory of A. Neil DeAtley.
