Bengal varsity football finished up the season with seven wins, four losses and an overall win rate of 64%. But they lost their home playoff game against Middleton, 14-7, and did not play at state competitions.
As a highlight, though, senior Austin Lawrence broke a school record this season: He caught a 94-yard touchdown from Drew Hottinger. The previous school record was 91 yards.
Lawrence had a great senior season, he said.
“I will miss being able to hang out with all my friends throughout the season,” Lawrence said.
