Lewiston High School hosted its Class of 2024 graduation ceremony on June 1, 2024, at Lewis Clark State College’s P1FCU Activity Center, and through unknown outlets, word has spread and run rampant of the possibility of a surprise visit from British monarch Her Majesty, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Though the sources of this rumor are still unknown and have not been determined to be legitimate, the staff of Lewiston High School and the Lewiston Police Department (LPD) are taking these allegations very seriously.
Following the official public release of this information via an Instagram account named @the.shallot_satire. Lewiston School District Superintendent Lance Hansen made an appointment with Her Majesty to discuss the proper procedures in these circumstances.
It’s unclear if the rumors are true or false or the nature of the decision on her part.
Still, from how everything is panning out, it seems the graduates and residents of Lewiston, Idaho, can expect to see everyone’s favorite monarch at the 2024 graduation ceremony on June 1, 2024.
