The LHS tennis season ended with a team record of 10-2-1, 4-1 in league.
“This group of players has truly been fun,” said Coach Sandi Stocks. “They work hard and play hard.”
Stocks reported that the team tied for first in league with Coeur d’Alene, and that players had good showings at the three tournaments they attended.
Season highlights included Eliza Pfaff beating the girls from Mead at the Larry McConnell invite, Stocks said. Others were Allie Olson getting second in the consolation bracket at Capital, Lynsie and Olivia Bren making the championship bracket, and RJ Wagner beating the second flight player from Coeur d’Alene.
“The best part of the season for me just is the opportunity to get to know these students outside of the classroom,” Stocks said
