Students picked five top candidates for ASB leadership through online voting this month.
The open positions for the 2020-2021 school year are ASB president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and public relations officer. Emmett Dougherty, an LHS ASB adviser, said in an email that the hope is the interviews will take place face to face, so the final details may take some time to determine.

The ASB elections are separate from the class officer elections, which will take place on the first day of school, Dougherty said.
Students looking to run for a class office will sign up at registration, and the voting and speeches will take place on the first day of school, Dougherty added.
