Class of 2017 starts new grad walk tradition

Students and staff at Lewiston High School initiated a new tradition June 1 as the band led the seniors through the halls for a final farewell. The LHS band walked up and down the halls of the first two floors of the main building while playing their music triumphantly for the graduating students of 2017. The students paraded behind the band wearing shirts that showed the college or military branch they plan to join, or wearing LHS purple and gold. Though the seniors had their final farewell, they will leave a mark as the first in the tradition of a Goodbye Walk.
