“Outsiders” classic comes to the LHS stage

Lewiston High School Drama Club is presenting The Outsiders on Nov. 5-8 in the P1FCU Performing Arts Center at LHS. The play is based on the 1967 novel of the same name, which is about teenage gang rivalry. The book was written by S.E. Hinton while she was in high school. The play at LHS is directed by Mel Syverson and features LHS actors including Tobi Robinson as Ponyboy Curtis. The play will begin at 7 p.m., and tickets are available at varying prices. For students here at LHS, admission is $1; for senior citizens, it is $3; and for anyone outside of the school, it costs $5.
