The annual basketball games between Clarkston and Lewiston high schools, known as the Golden Throne, take place on Dec. 19 at the L-C State Activity Center. Originally a rivalry event, the Golden Throne has become a large event for the community to raise funds for different charities and show off school spirit.
Lewiston High School supporters park on the West wing of the campus, and Clarkston High School supporters park on the East wing of the campus near Harris Field. Parking is not permitted at the cemetery or residential lawns, according to signage on campus. All illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense. Support for LHS is placed at the North bleacher, and CHS support is at the South.
