LHS baseball strikes out at state

The Lewiston varsity baseball team’s season ended May 9 with a loss to Blackfoot 2-8 in the state tournament. Even though they didn’t win at state, the team still has many achievements to be proud of. For example, they finished the season 18-10 and beat the LHS rival, Clarkston, 13-3 on March 31.

Another notable win was when the Bengals beat Twin Falls 5-3 on March 20. According to MaxPreps.com, the team leaders with the most batting statistics were Cal Robbins and Guy Krasselt.

The Bengals’ two tournament games on April 8-9 were against Blackfoot, where they lost both times. For more information about LHS sports, go to MaxPreps.com.
