Lewiston High School’s track season is to begin in late February.
The first practice is on Friday, Feb. 24. Anyone interested in joining a community of hard-working athletes can come. Once the team forms, they compete at the season’s first meet at Sweeney Track at noon on Friday, March 17. The three other home competitions will occur on March 23, April 7 and May 4. Individual and group abilities will be tested in the running, jumping and throwing events.
Keith Stuffle, who teaches history and government at LHS, has over 30 years of coaching experience and is the team’s head coach. Other coaches include Mike Jones, John Potter, Alex Rhea, Zach Rudd and Lance Dvorak.
