Donations to fund finding cancer cure

Created in memory of Scott Lynch, Lynch Up to Cure Cancer was one of the three organizations that Clarkston and Lewiston high schools picked to receive  money raised from the 2017 Golden Throne events.
Lynch passed away from pancreatic cancer at the young age of 51, and he had a motto to just, “lynch up and do whatever needed to be done,” according to LUCC’s website.
The money raised from LCCU golf tournaments, poker tournaments and Golden Throne will go toward trying to find a cure for pancreatic cancer, and to help those in the middle of a battle with the cancer.
