For the first time in Lewiston High School history, swimming has been recognized as a sport, rather than a club.
  This season, the Bengals sent two swimmers to compete at state in Boise Nov. 3-4.
Junior, Gerard Jaquez went to state but was unable to compete further due to an injury in a race.
Halle Kincaid, sophomore, also went to state but did not place.
