As of Jan. 31, the Febuscary LHS winter dance is cancelled.

The event was originally set for Feb. 3 at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston.

“Pre-sale tickets had a low sale rate, and the dance wasn’t popular with students,” said Nicholas Blume, senior class president.

“We would’ve lost money hosting the dance,” said Blume. “If we would’ve went through with the dance it would’ve cost the school several hundred dollars.”
