Former LHS art teacher, John Patterson, is displaying an open art exhibit at the LCSC Center for Arts and History. Patterson taught at LHS since 1988 until his retirement last school year. The exhibit will be available for viewing on Oct. 4, from 5-9 p.m. Works by John Patterson will be at The Center for Arts and History at 415 Main Street in Lewiston.

The Center for Arts and History will be displaying 20 new paintings, 25 early acrylic and watercolor paintings from the 1970s and a number of paintings from the ‘80s and ‘90s.

Patterson is also displaying art around the valley, in locations such as The Diamond Shop, Sylvan’s Furniture and the Lewiston Civic Theatre box office.
